In one paragraph

SmakSpace is the New Zealand-built menu-of-record system for cafés and restaurants taking orders across multiple platforms. Operators update menu items, prices and 86'd specials once in SmakSpace and the change publishes to the restaurant's direct QR ordering page instantly, with sync to Uber Eats and DoorDash rolling out through their merchant menu APIs as partner approvals complete. Supported alongside major NZ EFTPOS terminals; flat NZD subscription with no per-order commission on direct orders.

The multi-menu tax

You're a chef, not a data-entry clerk.

You updated the menus on Friday

A fortnight ago you 86'd the eye fillet at 7pm on Uber Eats but forgot to do DoorDash. A customer ordered it. The kitchen had to refund and apologise. The Uber driver had already shown up.

The prices drift

A specials menu update happened in your POS but never propagated. Uber Eats is on last week's prices. You lose money or a customer.

Your team becomes admin staff

Twenty minutes a day, every day, copying menu items between three dashboards. That's 120 hours a year your team is doing data entry instead of cooking.

One menu. Every channel.

Menu sync FAQ

Real questions about multi-channel menu sync.

Direct QR ordering is live today on every paid plan. Uber Eats and DoorDash menu sync is in early access — both platforms require formal partner-program approval before live menu pushes can be enabled for a specific store, and approval is not guaranteed for every venue. Join the waitlist on this page and we will confirm your eligibility and expected rollout window once partner approval lands for your store.
SmakSpace is the source of truth for your menu. When you add, edit or 86 an item in SmakSpace, your direct ordering page updates immediately. For Uber Eats and DoorDash (early access), the change is published to each marketplace via their merchant menu API once your store has been approved through their partner program. Each marketplace also has its own approval / publishing windows for major changes (e.g., new items with photos), which we surface transparently in the admin.
Your direct ordering page is updated instantly. Once your store is connected to Uber Eats / DoorDash through their partner programs, price and availability changes typically reach the marketplace within minutes, with longer windows for new items, new photos and category restructures. We surface the expected publish window for each kind of change in the admin.
Per-platform price modifiers (e.g., +10% on marketplace channels to offset their commission) are on the early-access roadmap. The base price and ingredients stay synced in SmakSpace; the marketplace-side display price will be configurable per category or per item once sync is enabled for your store.
Tap the item in SmakSpace (or in your kitchen display), mark sold out, and it disappears from your direct ordering page right away. For stores connected through the early-access marketplace programs, Uber Eats and DoorDash receive the same 86 signal through their merchant APIs. When the item is back, tap once to restore.
Delivereasy and YUMMi menu sync are on our NZ roadmap. We will confirm during onboarding which of your specific delivery providers are wired up at the time you join, and which are queued for the roadmap.
Photos and descriptions are part of the same sync model. Each marketplace has minimum image dimensions and approval windows for new visuals — we surface the platform-specific requirements when you upload a new photo so it gets approved on the first attempt once sync is enabled.
Yes. SmakSpace does not remove you from the marketplaces — it makes your direct channel faster than them and your marketplace presence less work to maintain. Many operators keep a thin Uber Eats presence for discovery and use SmakSpace QR codes to convert those guests into direct customers over time.
Operators we have talked to report 20-30 minutes per day on menu maintenance across multiple channels today. The full marketplace-sync workflow targets reclaiming most of that time once early access completes for your store.
